Job Summary: The Pharmacy

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with
supervisor to maintain accurate records for the drugs ordered and
dispensed on daily basis and account for all drugs handled in the pharmacy - Evaluate the
appropriateness of the medical prescription, dispense the medication to
the patient and counsel them on the proper use and adverse effects of
medications - Work closely with the
supervisor to plan, quantify, forecast and make orders for the
pharmaceutical products and supplies.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The candidate should
possess a Diploma in Pharmacy Technology - At least three years’
experience of working in clinical setting of which two should be working
with an ART setting and good experience of working directly with clients
on ART. - Excellent oral and
written knowledge of Luganda - Excellent computer
literacy skills - Proven ability to work
in a busy environment and under minimum supervision
