Nurture Africa is committed to contribute towards the Health and Development of
the most Vulnerable Children in these areas of operation through high quality
education, health care, Children’s rights and Sustainable livelihood programs
enabling them to become positive influences in Ugandan society. NA primarily
targets HIV infected and affected orphans and Vulnerable Children and works
with their families holistically for sustainable change to occur.
will oversee and provide leadership for the Nurture Africa Health Centre.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure “best
practice” HIV and Primary Health Care services are provided - Develop policies,
clinical strategies and guidelines, clinical data tools, work plans and
budgets for the Health Centre and ensure they are in line with the approved
Organizational Work plan and M&E plan - Take lead of the
Health Care staff in weekly planning, requisition of funds and reporting
processes with emphasis on team participation - Perform any other
duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Experience:
- The applicant should
possess a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health - Possession of a post
graduate diploma or degree in management - A minimum of five
years’ experience in management, 2 of which should be in an HIV setting - Possess the ability to
lead and build the capabilities of a diverse team - Excellent people and
(written, oral and IT) communication skills both internally and externally - Good knowledge and
understanding of finance, strategic development and planning, budgeting,
finance, information systems and human resources
