financial advice. Letshego Uganda Limited (LUL) operating in 42 branches is a
subsidiary of Letshego Holdings, a reputable and fast growing microfinance institution
(MFI) providing innovative financial services in Uganda.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 
  • The Legal Officer will be responsible for offering
    legal advisory support and ensure all our processes are in line with
    regulatory requirements.
  • The incumbent will also work in liaison with
    external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditors.
  • Develop and Manage systems that ensure the
    Company complies with all applicable codes, as well as its legal and
    statutory requirements.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The Legal Officer should hold a Bachelor
    of Laws (LLB) Degree from a reputable university.
  • The applicant must have a current
    Advocate’s Practicing Certificate
  • A minimum of three years’ post
    qualification experience in a similar position.
  • Past exposure and experience in
    financial/MFI environment will be an added advantage.
