Job Summary: The Senior Internal Auditor
will be responsible for planning, executing and reporting on
operational, financial regulatory and compliance related audits /reviews of
JCRC and to provide advice on internal control to JCRC management, including
responding to questions on risk management techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Plans financial,
regulatory, compliance and operational reviews/ audits. - Coordinates legal,
compliance and other control-related activities. - Identifies control gaps
and opportunities for improvement. - Documents results of
audit work in accordance with audit department and the Institute of
Internal Auditor (IIA)
standards. - Compiles and prepares
timely audit reports for top management, audit committee and the Board of
Trustees. - Assess, evaluate and
promote compliance to JCRC policies. - Contributes, as
appropriate, in the year-end financial audit with the external auditor. - Offers advice on internal
control and participates in enhancing internal audit standards and
practices within JCRC.
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
Skills and Experience:
- The candidate must
possess audit/accounting professional qualifications like; CIA, ACCA and
CPA - Ideally, s/he should also
hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance. - Professional membership
of Institute Internal Auditors (IIA) is desirable - A minimum of three years’
working experience in audit management positions in a large and dynamic
organization. - Excellent understanding
of the standards of Internal Auditors (IIA) and ability to fully comply with
IIA standards. - Possess the ability to
monitor multiple projects and supervise auditors.
