Uganda Electricity Transmission
Company Limited (UETCL) is responsible for bulk purchase of electricity from
the generating companies and selling the electricity in bulk to the
distribution companies throughout Uganda. UETCL is also responsible for all
exports and imports of electricity to Uganda. Our Vision is: “To become a
leading strategic business partner in the transmission and Single Buyer
Business and to support sustainable energy development in Uganda”

Job Summary: The
Investigations Clerk will primarily protect the property of Uganda Electricity
Transmission Company, investigating, arresting and causing the culprit to be
prosecuted in line with Company objectives

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support
the Head of Investigations Unit to investigate all activities of a
criminal nature committed to the prejudice of the Company by its employees
and none employees. - Carry
out inquiries into all reported acts of indiscipline by employees of
UETCL. - Conduct
inquiries into all traffic accidents involving the Company’s fleet of
vehicles and any other accidents. - Compile
and submit reports on investigations carried out. - Work
closely with Police and other relevant authorities for assistance in
investigations. - Perform
any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicant should possess a diploma in Law or Criminology. - At
least ten years’ working experience with the Police or any Security
Organisation with a bias in Criminal Investigation. - Proven
supervisory and interpersonal skills - Excellent
computer literacy skills - Possession
of a valid National Driving Permit - Highly
motivated, innovative, responsible, result oriented and a committed team
player.
