Job Summary: The GEM
Librarian will have the responsibility for the effective and efficient running
of the school library, including supervision where appropriate of library
assistants, students and volunteers. The incumbent will also be responsible for
the school library, the librarian primarily has the task of introducing books
and encouraging the enjoyment of reading.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The successful applicant will hold a
Qualification in librarianship/library science and will have at least one
year’s experience in a library in an educational setting. - The ideal candidate will be a committed
and creative individual with excellent organisational skills. - The successful candidate will also have
strong interpersonal skills and able to work effectively with students and
staff
