- Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, accounts and financial statements to specific deadlines.
- Prepare and interpret monthly management accounts.
- Conduct assessments and manage risks by developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk
- Keenly monitoring and interpreting cash flows, predicting future trends and controlling income, cash flows and expenditures.
- Conducting strategic analysis, assisting with strategic planning and setting strategic priorities
- Responsible for the development, supervising the implementation and controlling of accounting policies, principles, procedures and systems.
- Prepares and manages the implementation of plans and budget
- Staying current with the latest changes in financial regulations and legislation.
- Work closely with auditors to ensure annual monitoring and audits are carried out.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
- The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting & Finance;
- The applicant must also have full or part qualification in Professional courses like CPA, ACCA, or any other related professional qualifications.
- Possession of a post graduate qualification will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of three years’ professional experience in an organization with a complex accounting system, with vast experience in management and final report writing and interpretation.
- Ability to carry out the analysis of the finance information and explain to management to aid in decision making.
- Past experience in managing a large no of staff (50+) is an added advantage.
