Job Summary: The Afrimax
Outdoor Sales Coordinator will be responsible for managing and supporting the
team of direct sales persons working in different locations. The desired
candidate will ensure that the team meets its KPIs and the required standards
and measures so as to meet the set goals. The job function involves improving
performance and maintaining standards in service excellence through workforce
scheduling, supervision, coaching and training of the direct reports. The main
objective of the Outdoor Sales Co-ordinator is to ensure that all sales persons
meet the set sales targets.

- Coach, counsel, recruit, train and
discipline the sales persons - Evaluate on-the-job performance for direct
reports - Ensure that his/her team is up to date
with the company’s product offerings - Organize special and outdoor events
- Draw and draft up and agree route plans
for the direct sales staff - Maintain the Afrimax Group brand in all
interactions with customers
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor’s
degree in a business–related course - At least five years’ experience in a Sales
position - A minimum of two years’ experience in a
supervisory position - Excellent people-management, motivation
and team building skills - Excellent written and oral English
language skills - Computer literacy skills i.e. proficient
in all MS Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint - Prior experience working in a similar
position will be an added advantage - Excellent report writing skills
- Willingness to work long hours as and when
required - Self-driven with the ability to motivate
subordinates - Customer and service oriented skills
- Good management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation
skills - Ability to plan, prioritise, monitor and
take decisive action - Possess a strong performance and results
orientation - Professional image/visibility
