Afrimax Uganda Ltd is a newly launched ISP offering quality 4G wireless
broadband Internet services to companies and households in Kampala. In future,
we will extend our network and service to other parts of the country. We are
part of the larger Afrimax Group with ISP operations in other African countries.
Job Summary: The Dealer
Sales Co-ordinator will be primarily responsible for managing and supporting
the Afrimax network of dealers. The desired candidate will ensure that he/she
meets its KPIs and realises the set goals by working closely with the Head of
Sales. The job function involves ensuring that the dealers have merchandize in
stock at all times and meet the sales targets set. The ideal candidate will be
one with experience working with a network of dealers or distributors. The main
objective of the Dealer Sales Co-ordinator is to act as primary liaison between
the dealers and the Company and growing the dealer network over time.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 
  • Oversee and manage the network of dealers
  • Ensure that the orders for dealers are
    filled in time
  • Identify and recommend operational
    improvements to enhance quality of service and productivity
  • Work closely with Marketing, work on
    branding requirements for the dealer sales points
  • Set sales targets for each dealer and
    ensure that they are met
  • Recruit new dealers from time to time
  • Plan, forecast and successfully execute
    the sales cycle meeting volume, margin and profitability goals
  • Work closely with dealers and key internal
    members to determine successful stocking levels per product that maximize
    revenue, profitability and inventory goals
  • Participate in dealer/customer product
    training initiatives
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing
    promotions and programmes producing revenue growth within this channel
  • Develop short and long term plans for
    distribution
  • Utilize information technology systems to
    record sales figures for data analysis and forward planning
  • Ensure standards for quality, customer
    service and health and safety are met
  • Maintain the Afrimax Group brand in all
    interactions within the stores
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s
    degree in a business–related course
  • At least four years’ experience in Sales
    and/or Marketing
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a
    supervisory position
  • Excellent people-management, motivation
    and team building skills
  • Excellent written and oral English
    language skills
  • Highly proficient in all MS Office
    applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Prior experience working in Telecom or
    FMCG will be an added advantage
  • Good report writing skills
  • Willingness to work long hours as and when
    required
  • Self-driven with the ability to motivate
    subordinates
  • Customer centricity and service oriented
  • High personal innovation and willingness to
    learn
  • Excellent communication and presentation
    skills
  • Ability to plan, prioritise, monitor and
    take decisive action
  • Possess a strong performance and results
    orientation
  • Professional image/visibility
