Key Duties
& Responsibilities:
  • To manage the HR function
    of the Firm;
  • To manage the performance
    management system of the Firm;
  • To manage recruitment,
    retention and exit of human capital in the Firm;
  • Managing recruitment on
    behalf of our clients;
  • Oversees the External
    recruitment and selection practices to ensure the greatest number of highly
    qualified candidates are referred for each position;
  • Ensure interviews and
    selection techniques comply with the Clients’ policies and                              procedures,
    as well as applicable laws and regulations;
  • Leads and develops the
    Human resource team;
  • Managing the man power
    and leave plans of the Firm;
  • Managing the annual
    training plan of the Firm(2:8:80);
  • To provide secretarial
    and administrative support, maintenance and management of information held
    by the firm as may be required;
  • Managing events, planning
    and budgeting for the office (monitor and maintain office supplies);
  • Oversees Administrative
    Activities of the firm;
  • Manages employee
    relations and practices necessary to maintaining a positive
    employee-employer relationship and promoting a high level of employee
    commitment and relationships across the organization;
  • Management of other
    Support staff in the Firm;
  • Perform any other duties
    that may be allocated to you from time to time
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
  • The applicant should hold
    a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration,
    Industrial psychology or related field;
  • At least five years of
    progressive human resource experience with a strong background in
    employment and selection, training, organization development and employee
    relations;
  • The HR Executive should
    be a member of the HRMAU and professional certification e.g. CIPD, SHRP
    will be an added advantage
  • Excellent listening,
    grammar, numeracy, comprehension and presentation skills;
  • Excellent communication
    and etiquette skills;
  • Organization and planning
    skills;
  • Work management and
    prioritizing skills;
  • Problem solving ability
    and attention to detail;
  • Good record keeping;
  • Being reasonable and
    dependable; and
  • Ability to work under
    minimal supervision;
  • Ability to work under
    pressure and meet established goals and objectives;
  • Strong interpersonal,
    persuasion and creative problem solving skills are required
