Assistant Superintendent of Prisons currently existing in the Uganda Prisons
Service as specified below:-
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and drawing
operational plans for prisons farms. - Coordinating crop
husbandry activities on prisons farms - Conducting project
planning, monitoring and evaluation of agricultural activities. - Working in liaison with
other related organizations: e.g. NARO, NFA, District Agricultural
Institutes on Agricultural related activities. - Submitting annual
quarterly and monthly reports on agricultural activities. - Identifying agricultural
inputs and implements. - Supervising and
appraising subordinate staff. - Working out a
comprehensive agricultural rehabilitation programmes for inmates. - Perform any other duties
as may be assigned from time to time.
Skills and Experience: All suitably qualified Ugandans must possess an Honours Bachelor’s
Degree in Agriculture (Crop option) a recognized University or Institution.
