- Conduct timely
Preventive and Corrective Maintenance to meet UTL Network Availability,
MTTR, and MTBF KPI Objectives - Process all faults
related to Network Quality of Service (Congestion, CDR, CSSR, SDCCH
Blocking rate, Handover Success rate etc) KPIs and prescribe solutions
and/or carryout timely corrective procedures to maintain the KPIs within
the range in the UTL Set Objectives as escalated by NOC. - Keenly monitor and
manage UTL contractors to ensure that contractor SLAs are met within the
allocated region. - Responsible for
auditing network for capacity requirements to guarantee future network and
service expansions - Implement UTL’s
Network and Service Installations as requested by other Sections and
Departmets (Project, transmission, Planning, BSS, NSS, NOC, ISP, IT,
Commercial and Sales) - To support Internal
customers to perform field tasks (Eg. Surveys, Hard RESET, Hard LOOPs, UTL
BTS Site matters etc.). - To identify, build and
manage Network Spare/Stock Inventories - To compile and edit
network data/information to maintain data/information accuracy and
integrity - Prepare and submit
weekly network reports - To identify and advise
on areas where there is no network coverage or where network improvement
is required. - Perform any other UTL
work related duties as assigned by the Manager and NOC.
- The Regional Engineer
should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or
its equivalent in the relevant field. - A minimum of three
years’ experience in the telecommunications industry - Extensive knowledge of
Network Power and Generator system. - Excellent
communication and analytical skills - Creative and
innovative thinking - Exhibit high degree of
professionalism - High level of
integrity - Has a high level of
urgency in dealing with Network matters - Customer Centric
- Excellent trouble
shooting skills - Good interpersonal
skills - Possess the ability to
work with minimum supervision - Flexibility and
willingness to work long hours - A positive work
