valuable client, a leading multinational telecommunication company.
- Maintain an up to date database of
suppliers for locally sourced products and services. - Develop and maintain quality relations
with key suppliers. - Order goods and services from approved
suppliers and in line with business requirements and standards. - Manage all the documentation and record
keeping related to the sections activities. - Manage, monitor and coordinate the
availability of trading stock to avoid run out or overstocking.
Experience:
- The applicant should possess a bachelor’s
degree or diploma in a business related field. - Professional procurement qualification
such as CIPS. - At least three years’ practical experience
in a procurement function. - Accustomed to working in fast moving and
changing environments and to deadlines. - Computer literacy Skills
- Fluency in English and or French.
- Strong ethics, hands on approach.
- Able to operate in a performance driven
environment. - Business focused.
- Planning and organisation skills.
- Attention to detail and follow through.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Communication skills, both oral and
written - Good knowledge of document administration.
- Self-motivated.
- Problem solving skills.
