Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the proper management of cash and OD facilities at all times
  • Making certain that Accounts reconciliations are performed on a timely basis and reconciling items explained and cleared promptly
  • Responsible or the proper execution of Forex deals in accordance with treasury policies and procedures
  • Proper controls over local currency and forex payments processing
  • Maintain updated fit for purpose treasury procedures
  • Oversee and maintain banking mandate and relationships as per the group guidelines and Treasury Policy
  • Responsible for Insurance / Risk management and Treasury Business continuity plan
  • The job holder will act as the Principal Officer for the Staff pension fund
  • In charge of Proactive Credit Exposure Management
  • Responsible for Credit Performance and Exposure Management
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The most ideal candidate should have possess a First Class or Upper Second Class degree in commerce, finance or related field and a professional accounting qualification
  • Five or more years’ relevant experience in banking, treasury operations and risk & forex exposure
  • Finance Leadership skills
  • Skills in financial Risk Management
  • Excellent analytical and critical reasoning skills
  • Skills in Treasury Operations
  • Knowledge of the Accounting Operations and Standards
  • Excellent Interpersonal and team building skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Pension Fund Operations
