Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the proper management of cash and OD facilities at all times
- Making certain that Accounts reconciliations are performed on a timely basis and reconciling items explained and cleared promptly
- Responsible or the proper execution of Forex deals in accordance with treasury policies and procedures
- Proper controls over local currency and forex payments processing
- Maintain updated fit for purpose treasury procedures
- Oversee and maintain banking mandate and relationships as per the group guidelines and Treasury Policy
- Responsible for Insurance / Risk management and Treasury Business continuity plan
- The job holder will act as the Principal Officer for the Staff pension fund
- In charge of Proactive Credit Exposure Management
- Responsible for Credit Performance and Exposure Management
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The most ideal candidate should have possess a First Class or Upper Second Class degree in commerce, finance or related field and a professional accounting qualification
- Five or more years’ relevant experience in banking, treasury operations and risk & forex exposure
- Finance Leadership skills
- Skills in financial Risk Management
- Excellent analytical and critical reasoning skills
- Skills in Treasury Operations
- Knowledge of the Accounting Operations and Standards
- Excellent Interpersonal and team building skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Pension Fund Operations
