Job Summary: The Rewards & Benefit Manager will
primarily be responsible for developing a Total Rewards philosophy Policy and
implement programs aligned with that philosophy. The jobholder will also be
charged with delivery on the long term incentive plans. Ideally, in charge of
Umeme employee gratuity, pension & retirement schemes and other life
benefits.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Make
certain that the design, development and maintenance of Umeme’s total
rewards philosophy to support the recruitment and retention of talent to
perform our objectives. - Highly
accountable for payroll management and integrity. - Oversee
the design, development and administration of Umeme life benefits. - Responsible
for the management and coordination of wellness initiatives, including
developing communications and events. - Design
and build models, tools and processes to inform reward program decisions
and forecast, report, and/or analyze reward business outcomes ensuring
alignment to business goals.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal jobholder must have comprehensive rewards knowledge, skills and
experience. - Possess
the ability to manage benefits, administration, and plan design
experience. Highly commercial and able to align reward policy to business
objectives. - He/she
must also possess a Human Resource Degree or a degree in a related area of
study.
