Job Summary: The Creative
Designer for the MPL franchise will be mainly responsible for the creative
process of alt marketing projects from initial briefing, concepts development
through to production of final artwork.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Take lead and
    implement the creative process to ensure that the end product arrives on
    time, meets all the brief requirements and is within budget
  • Responsible for the
    quality of the final creative work
  • Initiate creative
    ideas which complement the overall creative approach and drive
  • Work with the brand
    managers and marketing manager to provide design solutions to highest
    possible standards within the marketing and brand strategy
  • Work through the
    entire design process from concept to pre-press and present final layouts
    for approval
  • Discuss with the
    product managers to determine objectives, background information and brand
    styles to be used on the product
  • Ensure that brand
    direction and style is reflected in both the new artwork and redevelopment
    or extension of existing brands
  • Maintain quality
    control of concepts and their execution
  • Design targets and
    standards
  • Responsible for
    marketing and brand objectives
  • Performs any other
    duties as assigned by the supervisor. 
    Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
    • The ideal candidate for the above vacancy
      must possess a good University Degree in Industrial Fine Art or related
      field from an accredited institution
    • Certificate in Graphic Design
    • At least three to five years’ working
      experience in graphics design
    • Extensive knowledge of the programs for
      graphic design, animation and typography, and demonstrable experience of
      practicing these within the bounds of corporate identity
    • Be highly creative with good
      problem-solving skills
    • Possess the ability to multitask
    • High degree of enthusiasm for design and
      well informed of current trends and issues
    • Possess the ability to lead the creative
      process
    • Ability to articulate creative ideas, both
      verbally, visually and in writing
    • Creative approach to briefs, while working
      within corporate guidelines if appropriate
    • Excellent eye for detail and accuracy
