Superintendent of Prisons currently existing in the Uganda Prisons Service as
specified below:-
Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnosis,
treatment and management of patients. - Evaluating patients and
referring them for specialized health care. - Delivering quality health
care to patients. - Adhering to the
professional Code of Conduct and Ethics. - Responsible for outreach
and community health programmes. - Carrying out research
activities and health data collection. - Compiling and submitting
periodic reports. - Actively participating in
continued professional development programmes. - Perform any other duties
as may be assigned from time to time.
Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidates must
be Ugandans holding Bachelor’s degrees in Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery
(MBCh B) degree from recognized Universities or Institutions. - All applicants must be
registered and licensed with Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners
Council.
