and non-confessional international NGO food security, health promotion,
economic development, education, microfinance, institutional support and
regional founded in 1993 and headquartered in Paris, France. ACTED’s vocation
is to save lives, assist vulnerable dialogue as well as cultural promotion. For
its programs in Northern Uganda, Karamoja and Kampala, ACTED is looking
populations and bring hope to those in need for a better future. ACTED is
active in 20 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Central
America and develops about 150 projects yearly in diversified activities such
as emergency relief, food security, economic development, health promotion,
education, microfinance, regional dialogue, institutional support as well as
cultural promotion.
Job Summary: The Monitoring
and Evaluation Officer will support the program with tracking progress, quality
control, the collection and analysis of data, reporting and providing valuable
feedback to partners.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate must possess a Post graduate qualification or a
    minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, Statistics, Development Economics studies,
    Civil Engineering, Construction Management and training in Monitoring and
    Evaluation
  • At least three years’ working experience
    preferably with relevant NGOs
  • Excellent working knowledge in design and
    management of PMP, IPTT, IPRS and M&E systems
  • The ideal candidates should exhibit high
    professionalism and confidence
  • Also be highly self-motivated, experienced
    and committed team players
  • Preferably, the candidates should be
    resident in the areas of the indicated duty stations
  • The person should be willing to travel
    within the region more than 30% of the time.
