Tororo, five miles from the township on Malaba – Jinja highway and it’s the
largest Cement and Steel products manufacturing Company in Uganda. Tororo
Cement was established in 1952 by the British Colonial Government as Uganda
Cement Industries (UCI).

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The prospective applicant must be a
graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering from a
recognized University. - The candidate should be a self driven
individual with good supervisory skills, - Possess three or more years’ industrial
experience in a similar position in a big organization preferably in
cement manufacturing. - He should have an ability to undertake
process flow measurements with minimum supervision so as to determine
heat, mass and air balance of the process plant.
