its valuable client, a World’s Specialist in mobile broadband. Nokia Solutions and Networks (NSN),formerly Nokia Siemens Networks, is a multinational data networking and telecommunications equipment company headquartered in Espoo, Finland, and wholly owned subsidiary of Nokia Corporation. It was a joint venture between Nokia of Finland and Siemens of Germany known as Nokia Siemens Networks. NSN has operations in around 150 countries including Uganda. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the support of all related
planning and optimization tasks for GSM networks - Provide analysis of KPIs and perform
problem investigation to improve network quality issues. - Support customer VIP problem
investigation. - Co-ordinate planning and optimization
tasks between internal NSN and customer. - Support customer for troubleshooting and
network performance improvement activities. - Require familiarity with Mapinfo , Nemo
Outdoor,TEMS measurement tool and
Nemo Analyzer post analysis tool - Provide analysis of neighbor relations and
follow up implementation of corrections. - Complete KPI reporting and performance
review reports for rollout tasks (e.g network upgrade or new feature
enabling). - Assist Special Event planning and provide
remote and/or on-site support. - Contact NPO partners for drive testing
organization when. - Assist to review partner reports for
weekly, bi-weekly & monthly optimization. - Support implementation of new RAN
features, and tuning of RAN database parameters.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The 2G Huawei
Optimizer should possess four to five years’ experience in 2G optimization
experiences. - Good understanding and
familiarity with 2G planning and optimization techniques for
troubleshooting and improving of KPIs. - Extensive knowledge
and familiarity with Mapinfo, Nemo Outdoor measurement tool and Actix
Analyzer post analysis tool. - Experience in Huawei
2G & 3G technologies will be highly preferred - Preferred to
understand & experience in Huawei RAN parameters and KPIs. - Exhibit high team
spirit - Excellent
interpersonal communication skills.
