Job Summary: The Planned Maintenance Officer will mainly facilitate
improvement of plant reliability through maintenance planning

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify
potential problems and generate gap list - Organize
and carry out FFA for all EJCs whenever necessary - Plan
adhoc and scheduled maintenance - Participate
in job observation - Generated
work orders in a timely and efficient manner. - Apply 5S
in your work area - Analyze
spares stock levels for planned jobs - Ensure
total number of breakdowns are reported on a weekly basis and are the same
as the system - Report
pending jobs due to lack of spares - Ensure
that returned work orders reach data clerk in time - Complete
EJCs to reach the data capture clerk in time - Avail
documentation on all plant specifications - Facilitate
asset care
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
prospective Rwenzori employee should hold a Bachelors of Science degree in
Mechanical or Electrical engineering - Two or
more years’ working experience - Possess a
High degree of integrity with excellent report writing skills - Possess high
energy, balanced personality self-discipline and drive, conceptualizing
and innovative thinking, goal orientation and a strong output bias. - Highly proactive
mindset, self-driven, self-starter and with initiative; ability to communicate
(verbal and written) - Computer
literacy skills - Good numeracy
skills - Highly presentable,
good communicator, motivated, disciplined and ambitious
