Coordinator
Chain Management Organisation that specialises in Logistics and Supply Chain
Management Services for pharmaceutical products and health commodities is
seeking to recruit for the following positions to support their projects:
Support Officer will be responsible for building capacity at the health
facility level in order to facilitate an efficient flow of HIV related
commodities to the beneficiaries of the health facility.
- Offer
support the partner health facility in management of the supply chain
through analysis and forecasting the required commodities, placing timely
orders and liaising with warehousing, and ensuring consistent availability
of HIV commodities (zero tolerance for stock outs) - Build the
capacity and manage performance of the health facility pharmacy staff in
the supply chain management systems and tools including Ministry of Health
HMIS and LMIS. - Develop,
appraise, and support the logistics and pharmacy management staff at the
health facilities through giving constructive feedback, coaching, training
and mentoring. This also includes participation in the routine support
supervision exercise in collaboration with the district health teams. - Build,
mentor and develop linkages and partnerships with other stakeholders in
the region and district to support the strengthening, capacity of health
facility and district logistics supply chain systems. - Offer
support to the health facilities to ensure quality and timely data
collection and LMIS reporting to the district, Ministry of Health and
project. - Provide
technical support to commodity delivery and security process to health
facilities in the region.
- The
applicant must possess a good Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or any other
health related degree. - A minimum
of two to five years’ professional experience in procurement. - Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills - Ability
to handle flexible working hours - Good
report writing skills - Appropriate
computer skills - Excellent
analytical skills - Self-starter,
focused, disciplined, have the drive and dynamism to work under pressure
with competing deadlines. - Ability
to live in a rural setting
