with a telecom company in Uganda, owning Operational territories all over the
country.

Job Summary: The Operations Manager will oversee the field
operational accounts in relation to the Telecom Company’s business
operational accounts in relation to the Telecom Company’s business
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Increases management’s effectiveness by
recruiting and selecting casual employees to collect airtime samples from
the field - Oversee the operations of the business by
coordinating with the casual employees and the Dealers (Business Partners) - Develop and accumulate a list of all the
outlets for all the Dealers(Business partners) in the different
operational areas - Investigate any claims of dumping by any
of the Business partners and write an investigation report - Review airtime samples from the field to
ensure they are coming from the right territories and forward them to the
data analyst for data entry - Coordinate with the police and the company
lawyer to confiscate any illegal distributions in a given territory - Act as the secretary to the disciplinary
committee - Produce a monthly report about the field
operations - Visit operational areas to get feedback
from the tellers and write a feedback report - And any other duties as instructed by the
business partners
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- All suitably qualified candidates should
possess bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration - At least a year to two years’ experience
working in an operations department
for a major company - Prior experience in Marketing, Research,
and Sales is an added advantage - Detailed understanding of the
distribution and sales market - Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving
skills - Good Decision making skills
- Effective verbal and listening
communications skills - Attention to detail and high level of
accuracy - Effective written communications skills
- Stress management skills
- Time management skills
