Job Summary: The Education Enablement
Officer will supervise all activities under the Education Sponsorship program
and provide career guidance to the OVC on the program.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Rigorously
monitor the attendance, performance and discipline of the orphans and
Vulnerable children on the sponsorship program - Examine
schools to ensure they have provided the vulnerable children with all the
necessary items that the program provides. - Follow up
on Orphans and Vulnerable Children with special cases In their homes - Offer
career guidance to the OVC in candidate and semi candidate classes - Organise
meetings and counselling with the OVC on the education sponsorship program - Organise
meetings with parents/ guardians of children on the Education Sponsorship
program - Ensure
that all relevant documentation is made and timely presentation of reports
to the project coordinator - Ensure
the sponsorship policy is adhered to any reviewed and updated periodically - Ensure
the impact of the project is regularly evaluated and the outcomes are
included in the education policy - Work in
collaboration with relevant stakeholders of the program to ensure proper
information flow. - Perform
any other duties as assigned by the Education Projects Coordinator –
Wakiso.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicant should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work and
Social Administration/Social Sciences/Development Studies. - A minimum
of three years’ experience in both classroom and community work - Computer
literacy skills i.e. proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
