- Establishes, in
conjunction with management, objectives to grow the parts business. - Monitors and controls,
in conjunction with After sales manager parts department results in the
financial statements on a daily basis. - Oversee and maintain
inventory of parts, shop consumables and other materials to meet/increase
fulfillment rate targets - Monitors back orders
periodically with the aim to reducing back order lead time and submits
weekly reports to the Aftersales Manager. - Ensures maintenance of
proper Inventory Control and strives to reduce cost of inventory - Analyses parts pricing
quarterly through price surveys to maintain market competitiveness - Analyze lost sales and
submit report to Aftersales manager. - Manage and supervise
the Parts Department staff and all stake holders to push for Parts Sales
volumes. - Design and develop
sales and marketing plans in support of key initiatives as defined in the
Parts marketing plan and Monitor monthly sales performance. - Establishes and
assures adherence to proper parts shop procedures. - Ensure adherence to
Nissan standards for parts inventory. - Check monthly summary
of parts sales and submit report to the Aftersales manager. - Assures efficient shelf
layout, availability of adequate stock capacity maintenance. - Submit proposals for
purchase of new equipment. - Ensures warranty
claims against faulty/broken goods are processed. - Reads periodically all
service publications and assures that all employees are kept informed
about product changes.
- The Parts Manager
should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Procurement/ Inventory
Management preferred. - Possession of
professional Qualifications of CIPS would be an added advantage. - At least five years’
experience with Inventory Management preferably in the automotive industry
or similar. - Excellent computer
literacy skills - Possess the ability to
build and/or run large businesses’ parts department. - Clear focus on high quality
and business profit. (high business acumen) - Ability to plan,
execute and follow-up, high level of commitment and attention to detail. - Possess a high degree
of integrity, customer service, honesty and analytical ability. - Familiar with
applicable Quality standards.
