will be responsible for proactively and systematically developing the new
direct sales business by managing, developing and mentoring the direct sales
teams’ performance to achieve set growth plans and sales targets for Smile
Communications.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for capability building and routine
management at ground level, i.e. walking with the Account Managers whilst
they are visiting clients. - Offer guidance and development to all aspects
of the Smile direct sales Account Managers. - Participate in the development of sales
processes, monitor adherence to sales processes and recommend changes to
any inconsistencies that may hinder sales within the direct sales channel. - Execution of direct sales strategies/ plans.
- Coordinate sales forecasting, planning and
budgeting processes for all direct sales Account Managers under
supervision - Keep management up to date with market trends
and competitor activity and pricing strategies. - Ensure timely execution of sales campaigns and
collateral material. - Ensure communication to Account Managers
regarding product information, pricing and technical support. - Guarantee superb customer service in line with
Smile’s brand promise throughout Smile direct sales channel. - Ensure goals and plans are effectively
communicated, understood and applied. - Ensure Account Managers daily routines are
measured and managed, most importantly updating of client information into
JIRA. - Provide any other ad hoc duties as assigned by
the Direct Sales Force Account Managers
- OPCO Direct Sales Force customer (qualified
leads capture, follow up on existing leads, gross and net adds/ new
customer acquisitions) and revenue targets. - Team updates and management of JIRA.
- Route adherence by Account Managers.
- Superior level of customer services in line
with the Smile brand promise. - Efficient allocation of resources, support and
training. - Compliance to Smile sales and cash handling
processes
Experience:
- The applicant must possess a post graduate qualification
in Sales. - A minimum of three years’ experience in
distribution and sales to the consumer market. - Prior experience in Telecom or FMCG industry,
or both, will be of added advantage - Excellent selling skills.
- Strong leadership, communication and management
skills. - Strong organisational skills.
- The job holder should be acclimatized to the
field rather than being in the officer - Flexible working hours to meet the needs of the
business
