Job Title:  Export Assistant

savings, process improvement leading to improved efficiency and effectiveness
yet simultaneously strengthening quality and control of resources.
Job Summary: The Export Assistant will support the Export
Manager in all export and broad sales operations obligations, providing relief
administrative support as well as supporting the Sales department in ongoing
sales and export affairs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The Export assistant will be responsible
    for carrying out market research on foreign distributors
  • Following up on the export and import
    procedures
  • Updating and maintaining the customer
    database.
  • Translation and revision of technical
    sales documents
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the
    Export Manager
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The Export Assistant
    must possess a good bachelor’s degree in Economics or International
    Business. Possession of an advanced degree will be an added advantage
  • The applicant should
    ideally possess a year’s experience in export logistics, preferably in the
    FMCG field
  • Fluency in both
    written and spoken English
  • Excellent command in
    other international language would be an advantage
  • Computer literacy
    skills i.e. proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, Internet
  • Excellent
    organizational and interpersonal skills
  • High self-drive,
    customer-orientation and stress-resistant personality
  • Basic knowledge of
    Incoterms 2000
  • Excellent negotiation,
    sales and communication skills
  • High interest to learn
    from other cultures
