Officer
Board (UAHEB) was established by the BTVET Act 2008 to streamline, regulate and
coordinate examinations and awards in the Allied Health Profession in Uganda.
It is composed of thirteen (13) members drawn from the constituencies involved
in Health Training, Stake Holders and Professionals.
- Actively
participate in setting, invigilation, marking and compilation of
examination reports. - Preparation
of examination materials i.e. examination cards, examination answer
booklets and letters of invitation to stakeholders who participate in the
examinations. - Analyze
the results of examinations, compiles and disseminate reports. - Perform
any other duties assigned by the Senior Examinations Officer.
- The
Examinations Officer must hold a Bachelors degree in Medical Education or
its equivalent - Possess a
diploma in clinical and community Health from a recognized registered
Allied Health Institution. - Additional
diploma in Medical Education or its equivalent is an added advantage. - At least
ten years’ experience in managing internal examinations. - The
applicant must also be registered with Allied Health Professional Council. - Computer
literacy skills i.e. Proficiency with Microsoft applications. - Good
knowledge of statistical analysis, use of SPSS/Statistical and other
statistical programs.
