is a pharmaceutical plant, producing anti-retroviral and anti-malarial drugs at
Luzira Industrial Park in Uganda. QCIL is a joint venture between Quality
Chemicals Ltd-a local drug distribution company and Cipla Ltd-a leading pharmaceutical
manufacturer from India.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning,
Monitoring and controlling power plant operations, maintenance and
documentation - Planning,
Supervising of electrical projects; both in-house and by contractors - Planning,
Supervising of calibration works and validation of electrical and
electronic systems - Supervising
optimum usage of power within the factory/ plant. - Interpreting
and updating Single Line Diagrams (SLD) of the plant. - Planning
and implementing continuous energy saving initiatives.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
Electrical Engineer should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical
Engineering, - At least
three years’ demonstrable experience in the field of electrical engineering
in an industrial set up. - Good
working knowledge in Electronics and instrumentation is an added
advantage.
