Job Summary: The EHS Environmental Engineers will primarily use
scientific and engineering principles, environmental engineers develop
solutions to environmental problems
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • The environmental engineer performs a
    variety of engineering work in designing, installing, operating and
    maintaining measuring apparatus necessary to determine the level of
    pollutants involving air, land and water.
  • This position ascertains levels of
    pollution and recommends appropriate action to assure conformance with
    state, and country legislation and regulations regarding environmental
    control.
  • The environmental engineer assists with
    overall planning and installation of equipment revision relating to
    environment. She/he performs tests or experiments requiring the use of
    nonstandard procedures and complex instrumentation.
  • Act as a contact person between the
    company and regulatory agencies concerned with environmental control.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The EHS Environmental Engineer must
    possess a good Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field.
  • The prospective applicant must have five
    or more years’ professional experience.
  • Excellent Problem-solving skills
  • Organizational, communication, planning,
    customer focus
  • Managerial courage
  • Priority setting.
  • Candidates with manufacturing background
    and, experience in EHS area will be at an advantage
  • Prior experience in working in substations
    and have worked in high voltage areas.
  • Highly self motivated and able to
    multitask.
  • Computer skills  are mandatory
