Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Develop M&E plans
and systems for new project and business initiatives in liaison with
grants and business development staff or task forces. - Ensure progress
reporting satisfies the needs of stakeholders. - Carry out field-based
M&E activities to backup the desk reviews and other office-based
M&E actions.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The Grants Monitoring
Officer should ideally possess a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences,
Economics or Statistics. - Possession of a Master’s
Degree in Population studies, Development Studies, Social work or Public
Health - Possession of a Post-graduate
training in Monitoring and Evaluation will be an added advantage.
- At least five years’
work experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, 2 of which are in writing
high quality Programme level reports. - Three or more years’
experience at middle management level - Prior experience in
dealing with donor reporting. - Demonstrable
experience in designing and use of M&E tools, data analysis, data
quality assessments and data use - Excellent Communication
skills
- Good presentation
skills - Excellent skills in Networking
and partnerships - Good planning and
organising skills - Good negotiation skills
- Excellent problem
solving skills - Good computer
literacy skills i.e. working knowledge of Microsoft office - Highly
