- Offer financial advice
and participate in developing operational and financial strategies - Understand funding
requirements, maintaining relationships with external organisations and
manage working capital - Take lead of the
finance function by developing financial plans and policies, directing
treasury and budgeting as well as management information ensuring all
finance and accounting requirements are met - Develop the financial
strategy for the company and participate in the formulation of long term
organisational strategy - Review all existing contracts
and agreements - Guide new negotiations
ensuring that all contracts are properly documented and minimise any risk - The successful
candidate should display a strong financial background, ideally through a
Chartered Accountancy route, although MBA profiles shall also be
considered. - Candidates should
possess a sound knowledge of the telecom industry and all the specific
dynamics which that entails. - Supporting the CEO,
based domestically and a Group CFO based in Dubai, this role shall require
a committed, commercially astute and technically sound senior financial
professional.
- The applicant must be
a fully qualified Accountant (ACA / CPA / ACCA) - Western educated
degree holder in a Finance / Business related subject - Trained / qualified
with a Big 4 or Mid-Tier practice and have gained exposure to conducting
audits, internal controls and review exercises - Possess extensive post
qualification experience within industry ideally from a Telecoms /
Technology background - Prior experience of
dealing with IFRS reporting standards and working on consolidated accounts
is essential - Significant experience
