communities can access locally owned, high-quality services. ARC is an equal

positions above in Nakivale Refugee Settlement with UNHCR Funding.
Worker will provide Psychosocial support and counseling to Refugees in Nakivale
Settlement.
- Identify PSN /EVIs and all POCs in the
settlement, assess and verify needs of PSNs - Link / coordinate PSNs with the relevant
sectors eg. Livelihoods for support - Give advice and provide referrals to all
PoCs including new arrivals for various services - Provide psycho social counseling services
to all PoCs in need and provide referrals - Support Community sector during the
distribution of NFIs and Sanitary materials and Youth activities in the
Refugees settlement - Expected to receive referrals needs from
UNHCR, OPM and protection
Experience:
- The Social Worker should possess a
Bachelor’s degree in Social work, Community Psychology, Education,
Development studies - Additional Certificate in Counseling
Services - At least three years’ experience in
Community Development services with an International NGO (INGO) - Excellent report writing, communication
and analytical skills.
