Job Summary: The Program Assistant will be primarily responsible for supporting to the
Team Leader in the daily smooth running of the projects that involves
identification, mentoring, coaching and capacity building of business
enterprises who work with program targeted rural communities

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support in general program operations and
field-based activity; - Work collaboratively with and support key
program staff to ensure that the program is running effectively and making
best use of project resources; - Work closely with the team leader and MEL team
for data-entry of program information, as assigned. - Develop charts, statistical reports and
data-bases as required by the team leader; - Develop and maintain project and activity logs;
- Assist other program staff in coordinating logistics
and project activities; - Promote and adhere to the principles and
objectives of the Program and Mercy Corps; - Assist with overall program development and
future proposals for program follow-on activity; - Perform any other duties as assigned by the
Team Leader.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- The applicant should
possess a good diploma in Business, Management or related fields - A minimum of two years’ relevant experience preferably in an NGO
or private sector setting - Possess the ability
to work independently and show initiative;
Excellent report writing skills; - Strong computer (MS Office), filing, and
organizational skills; - Excellent spoken and
written English. - Fluency in Luo is an
advantage
