Investment Authority (UIA), set up under the investment Code 1991 is a
statutory agency mandated to initiate and support measures that enhance
investment in Uganda and to advise Government on appropriate policies conducive
for investment promotion and growth.
The Revenue Accountant will primarily be responsible for monitoring of accounts payable and
receivable in conformity with the UIA financial policies.
- Responsible for the proper coding and
reconciliation of all individual client accounts. - Identify and resolve all discrepancies
identified in revenue reconciliations. - Create, review and maintain monthly client
invoices. - Monitoring, collecting and resolving accounts
receivable aging items. - Assist in the processing of daily cash
receipts, as necessary. - Prepare timely monthly revenue reports
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the
Deputy Director
- The applicant should hold a bachelor’s degree
or diploma in the field of Accounting. - At least two years’ experience in accounting or
finance. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Good working knowledge of accounting packages
