Job Summary: The Credit Officer – Agricultural Lending
will be responsible for recruiting of clients and visiting prospective clients’
businesses and homes to assess credit worthiness and will report to the Credit
Administrator
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The Credit
Officer – Agricultural Lending will particularly do the following
responsibilities:
·                    
The
Credit Officer will be marketing the PRIDE Agricultural lending product.
·                    
Responsible
for Client mobilization, sensitization and training.
·                    
Rigorously
cross-sell the company’s products to clients and enhance / protect the
reputation of the company at all times.
·                    
Responsible
for all loan disbursement according to policy.
·                    
Do follow-
up and recovery of loans according to PRIDE policies.
·                    
Contribute
positively to branch performance by continuously achieving all set targets.
·                    
Ensure
proper filing of all Agricultural Lending documentation.
·                    
Perform
any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·                    
All
potential job suitors should hold a Bachelors’ degree from a reputable
Institution with good grades in Agricultural economics, Agricultural Extension,
Agricultural Land Use and Management, Agribusiness Management, Agricultural and
Rural Innovation or in any other relevant / related field.
·                    
Prior
experience is an added advantage.
·                    
Excellent
customer awareness and good emotional intelligence skills
·                    
Possess
excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
·                    
The
applicant should be willing to work in any part of the country.
·                    
Fluency
in commonly used local languages in Uganda.
Age: Less than 27 years of age.
