Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning
for program implementation and technical support for staff skill
development. - Follow-up
final selection of model farmers CUM agricultural workers and general
farmers. - Prepare
the business plan and ensure the marketing of the improved agro-inputs
considering local cropping patterns. - Regularly
visit the Branch office as well as farmers’ fields and advise them on good
agricultural practices and technical assistance. - Coordination
with the local Government, nongovernmental organizations and other
development partners within the located areas.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
Regional Coordinator must hold a Bachelor of Science degree in
Agriculture. - A
minimum of three to four years’ management experience in Agriculture
Extension work. - Strong
multi-discipline management skills including interpersonal and
organizational skills. - Good
working knowledge of personal computers and related business software such
as work, Ms Office, access.
