Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee
all aspects of smooth running the Seed Enterprise in Uganda. - Supervise
and execute activities like Seed production (like, planting, cultivation,
harvesting,), Processing, marketing and research for product development. - Ensure
the business plan is on track for seed business and well harmonized with
production and marketing plan. - Responsible
for managing BRAC seeds in the market with the highest quality. - To
organize all donor/ministry/ staff are expected to attend farm visits and
contact grower’s field demonstrations.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
General Manager must hold a MSc. in Agriculture. - At
least ten years of educational / outreach experience on seed business. - Highly
skilled on seed business - Significant
experience in creation of farm plan and whole farm budget. - Ability
to work in all conditions - Highly
reliable-responsible and self motivated person.
