Job Summary: The E- Channels
Business Manager will oversee the Bank’s E-Channels programme, and drive the
execution E-Channels Business Growth strategy in line with the overall mission
of the Bank.

Key Duties &
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the formulation and execution
of the e-channels strategic business plan to support the Bank’s growth
strategies and exceed defined e-channels business goals - Work in liaison with the marketing and
business teams to identify key target segments, formulate plans to engage
and acquire new customer relationships, and drive acquisition and usage of
electronic banking channels / products - Identify opportunities for new revenue
streams around electronic banking and collaborate with relevant
departments such as marketing, ICT, product development, operations and
external parties to develop responsive product solutions to tap into such
opportunities - Work collaboratively with the retail
banking management teams to rally the whole branch-network to drive retail
uptake of electronic banking channels and products through finger-tip
product knowledge and vigorous monitoring and engagement of branches on
electronic banking sales and product uptake - Oversee the identification of strategic
business partners of electronic banking, and actively guide the
negotiation and set up of strategic relationships with such third parties
to drive market foot-print, customer accessibility and wide availability
of the Bank’s electronic banking services - Gradually monitor the performance of the
whole portfolio of electronic banking channels / products, maintain
traction against set performance targets and proactively advise management
on corrective measures where necessary - Vigilantly monitor the market and industry
trends, and competitor behaviour to gather business intelligence to advise
and shape management response to effectively manage opportunities and
threats while maximizing e-channels business performance - Manage, motivate and develop the
e-channels team through rigorous performance management, coaching,
mentoring and learning interventions to create a team able to deliver the
e-channels mission - Perform any other assignments as
stipulated by the Head of Retail
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- The applicant should possess a good Bachelor’s
degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Marketing or a related field - Additional Professional qualifications in
Marketing, Finance or related field e.g. CIMA, ACCA, CFA, CPA desirable - At least five years’ experience in Finance
related Business Development; 2 of which should be in e-channels - Excellent track record in Direct Selling,
Sales Management and Relationship Management - Good understanding and grasp of general trends
and applicability of technology, electronic channels / banking - Strong strategic perspective
- Good leadership and people management
skills - Strong customer centricity, with a strong
sense for client behavior - Solid business acumen and financial skills
- Excellent networking skills, tact and
diplomacy; with ability to influence key people inside and outside the
Bank - Strong presentation, verbal and written
communication skills - Good team player with strong interpersonal
skills and the ability to build internal and external networks - Ability to work in a fast paced and result
driven environment
