positions above in Nakivale Refugee Settlement with UNHCR Funding.
sector staff to ensure efficient and timely maintenance and repair of equipment
at the water plants to ensure constant supply of safe water in the settlement
- Ensure that all equipment at water plants
is in good working condition at all times. - Conduct routine service of generators,
pumps and control panels at the water plants. - Timely and quality repair of electrical
installations, generators and pumps when the need arises. - Works recording (job cards and reporting
system) - Train and mentor systems operators on
systems operation and preventive maintenance measures. - Set up an early alert system at water
plants to prevent major breakdown of equipment.
Experience:
- The Mechanic should possess a good
diploma/Degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. - A minimum of five years’ experience in
maintenance and repair of generators, electrical control panels and pumps. - Language fluency in Kiswahili
