Key
Duties and Responsibilities:

- The
Manager Finance will do preparation/ lining up of payment vouchers for
both cash and bank payments; - Entering
approved payment requests into accounting software; - Follow
up of accountability of advances following procedures in the accounting
manual; - Posting
Tax invoices and receipts for clients; - File
all accounting documents in a professional manner; - Following
up on due accounts from the clients and reconciliation of clients’
accounts; - Preparation
of monthly bank reconciliations, NSSF, WHT and PAYE returns; - Participate
in the preparation of monthly management accounts for the Association; - Facilitate
the preparation and follow up of tax matters of the Association; - Ensure
that all matters of administration of the Association are properly
executed; - Conduct
procurement of items in line with the procurement policy; - Perform
any other duties that may be allocated to you from time to time
Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:
Skills & Experience:
- The
applicant should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or
Business Administration from a recognized University or relevant
discipline; - Professional
qualification in ACCA, CPA or CIMA is desirable; - Academic
excellence in all the above disciplines; - A
minimum of four years’ relevant working experience in a similar busy
environment; - Good
financial management skills with knowledge of computer Accounting Packages
and good understanding of financial requirements and tax policies; - Excellent
Analytical Skills and Ability to work under minimum supervision; - Self-motivated
with demonstrated ability to generate financial reports and meet set
deadlines with good integrity and confidentiality; - Knowledge
of computerized accounting software like QuickBooks, Tally etc is an added
advantage; - Ability
to maintain personal professional development and competencies on
financial issues; and - Be
a good team player with good interpersonal, communication and excellent
creative and thinking skills
