WTU:
Windle Trust Uganda (WTU)
is a registered NGO whose primary mission is to equip refugees and others
affected by conflict in Africa to meet the challenges of development through
providing access to education, training, and employment opportunities by
advocacy and direct programme activity. In partnership with the UNHCR, WTU
seeks to recruit suitable qualified persons to fill the following positions for
Nakivale Refugee Settlement in Isingiro District. Nakivale Vocational
Training Centre (VTC). The VTC currently offers short training courses in Carpentry
and Joinery, Building and brick lying, Agronomy, Tailoring, design and dress
making.
Job
Summary: The Education
Officer will primarily coordinate, implement, monitor and evaluate the Primary,
Secondary & Vocational education activities.
Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:
  • The
    Education Officer must possess a relevant Bachelors in Education
  • Three
    or more years’ experience in the relevant field preferably in an NGO
    setting.
  • Ability
    to ride a motor cycle and possession of a riding permit.
