Summary: The Credit
Supervisor will assist the Operations Manager in the planning, coordination and
control of lending operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitors
and reports on the implementation of loan policies and procedures. - Analyses
portfolio performance on monthly basis and submits recommendations to the
Operations Manager - Plans
and initiates strategies for portfolio development and recovery of loans. - Initiates
plans for recruitment, training and development of Credit Officers in
accordance with the loans portfolio development and makes recommendations
to the Human Resources Manager. - Ensure
that branches operate in accordance with set targets in the operational
plan.
Ensures that loans accounts in all branches are balanced and, where
necessary, corrective action is taken. - Compiles
periodic returns on lending business. - Regularly
inspects the credit departments in branches. - Perform
any other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications, Skills
& Experience:

- The
applicant should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a business related field. - Post
graduate qualification in microfinance will be an added advantage. - The
candidate should have worked in comparable positions in credit management. - High
analytical and problem solving ability gained through practical
experience. - Good
leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
