Job Summary: The Completion Engineer Trainee
will be trained as a Junior Drilling/Completion Engineer in one year.

Responsibilities:

- The applicant will do studies on
drilling and completion knowledge. - Learns drilling program preparation
in office from drilling/completion engineers by assist drilling/completion
engineer with well engineering work - Learns drilling/completion AFE
preparation by assist drilling/completion engineer with AFE estimation. - HSE training participation.
- Conduct field training at rig
working site directed by drilling supervisor. - Assist in drilling data acquisition
and “post well” reports. - Assist liaison with Uganda
Government. - Perform any other duties assigned by
superior.
Qualifications, Skills
and Experience:

- The
applicant should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above is preferred in
Petroleum engineering, mechanical or geological engineering. - Good
drilling related working experience is preferred, Fresh graduate is
acceptable. - Engineering
education is a must - Good
understanding of oil E&P operations in Uganda.
