Us:
was established in 2005 as not for profit community university whose ownership
is expressed through the various representative communities which include, the
districts, municipalities, religious communities and the business communities
of the Rwenzori region.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Offer
technical support the Registrar Finance with inputs into the Budget
process. - Prepare
annual statements of Accounts. - Responsible
for banking, withdraws and making Bank reconciliations. - Follow
up accounts receivable and payable. - Follow
up utility bills and ensure that they are paid on time. - Check
student’s ledgers for accuracy and completeness. - Follow
up income and expenditure for donor projects. - Perform
any other duties assigned by the higher authority.
Skills & Experience:
- The
applicant should hold a BBA (Accounting), Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting), BBM (Accounting), or
equivalent. - Good
working knowledge of Quick books and Microsoft excel is a requirement.
