financial and Business Development services to active and productive Ugandans.
MSC Ltd supports legally established entities engaged in the value chain
namely; production, value addition and marketing enterprises.
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (M&EO) will be responsible for ensuring
that activities in the Company’s strategic plan, departmental/unit plans are
undertaken as planned and provide feedback to the concerned. Ensure that the
Zonal data is updated quarterly and assistance is provided to Zonal staff where
necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Implement Monitoring and Evaluation
(M&E) framework to measure the Company’s output. - Participate in the collection and
updating of client’s data for measuring socio Economic impact of MSC
intervention. - Periodically monitor the Company’s
performance and propose remedial action. - Produce reports and other information in
respect of Company’s intervention as may be required from time to time. - Participate in the development of
standardized tools to ensure quality M&E systems. - Support the Head of the Unit in
undertaking field monitoring activities in order to identify problems and
recommend solutions. - Perform any other duties as assigned by
supervisor
Indicators:
- Data collection to implement periodic
assessment and evaluation of the company’s performance in all allocated
areas. - Designed tools and framework for M&E
processes. - M&E monthly and quarterly reports.
Experience:
- The candidate should hold a Degree
(Honours) from a recognized university in Project planning and management,
Economics, Development Studies, Social Sciences and any other related
qualification. - Two or more years’ experience in the
field of development and use of M&E approaches and logical framework. - Exposure in donor reporting requirements
is desirable. - Knowledge in analytical software packages
such as SPSS or SAS is a must. - Self driven with high sense of
responsibility. - Ability to meet deadline with minimal
supervision. - Strong interpersonal skills.
