Strategy. MSC facilitates access to affordable, sustainable and convenient
financial and Business Development services to active and productive Ugandans.
MSC Ltd supports legally established entities engaged in the value chain namely;
production, value addition and marketing enterprises.
Marketing Officer will be responsible for promotion and maintenance of good
corporate image of MSC Ltd in the public domain, its clientele and
stakeholders.
- Co-ordinate and explore prospects of
bringing new clients on board. - Maintain contacts of key clients and
stakeholders. - Develop, design & manage PR
interventions/activities to bolster MSC Ltd’s image. - Manage the dissemination of information
and respond to media concerns on the company activities. - Participate in the production of
communication/marketing materials for purposes of marketing the company to
its clients. - Participate in the co-ordination of all
MSC Ltd public events. - Organize and coordinate corporate social
responsibility programs of the company. - Participate in MSC Ltd stakeholders
programs/activities. - Perform any other duties as assigned by
supervisor
Indicators:
- Implement Marketing strategies,
procedures and processes. - Handle public relations and Company image
matters. - Identify and retain clients.
Experience:
- The candidate should hold an honours
degree in any of the following areas; Mass communication, social sciences
or development studies. - A post -graduate qualifications in public
relations/Marketing will be an added advantage. - Working experience of public relations of
not less than 2 years. - Excellent written and oral communication
skills. - Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to inspire, motivate and
influence at all levels of partnerships. - Excellent and aggressive/attentive
listener. - Very strong assertive behaviour, a
creative, innovative& self motivated person. - A business focused, straight thinker with
the flexibility and creativity to achieve results, a person of Innovation
and flexibility in marketing and PR. - Self driven with high sense of
responsibility. - Ability to meet deadline with minimal
supervision. - Excellent presentation and editing
skills. - Good computer skills.
