mandate is to procure, store and distribute medicines and other medical
supplies to public health facilities in Uganda.

Job Summary: The Front Desk
Assistant for the National Medical Stores will mainly conduct reception service
and telephone switchboard operations.

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Receive, record bookings and make outgoing
calls. - The Front Desk Assistant will also update
and maintain records and verify telephone bills before forwarding for
payment processing. - Receive all incoming calls and route them
to relevant personnel, and attend to routine inquiries and record all messages
received in line with NMS customer care guidelines. - Maintain the front desk office
infrastructure in line with front office desk management practices. - Receive customers/visitors to corporation
and guide the relevant offices in line with NMS customer care guidelines
and ensure that their needs are addressed.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal NMS Front Desk Assistant must
hold a good diploma in Secretarial Studies or in Business Administration
or in Leisure and Hospitality. - At least two years’ post qualification
experience. - Computer literacy skills
- Possess the ability to communicate
effectively, especially verbally - The applicant must have undertaken
training in Customer Service.
