Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the stakeholders on site, local
authorities and communities to ensure that they are informed and consulted
about Company’s policies & operational activities. - Follow-up of grievances, community employment
opportunities and on-going social investment activities. - Advise management on local internal community
dynamics and provide feedback about the community’s perception of the
Company and its activities.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant
should hold a Bachelors degree in Social Sciences, Anthropology or Human
Resources - Certificate of
attendance of a community based training course is a plus - Previous
experience working with rural communities in Uganda, preferably in the
Lake Albert area and in Buliisa District. - Good
communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to develop and
maintain good relationship with both internal and external stakeholders - Knowledge of the
local language is mandatory: Alur and Rugungu.
