seeking to recruit dynamic, self-motivated individuals to fill the enlisted
positions; following the support received from the Joint Population Program –
financed by DFID through the World Health Organization (WHO) to Uganda Blood
Transfusion Services (UBTS); to establish three new blood collection teams in
Lira, Arua and Moroto Districts. URCS has therefore, been entrusted by UBTS to
contract and jointly implement activities for this program. URCS is an equal

Job Summary: The Medical Records
Assistant will be responsible for maintaining blood bank data while strictly
adhering to the ethics and code of conduct to maintain confidentiality at all
times

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Keeps records and information on blood bank
operations in the regional blood bank. - Maintains the blood donor data bank records.
- Adheres to code of conduct and ethics.
- Participates in research activities.
- Imparts knowledge and skills to staff.
- Compiles and submits periodic returns on blood
bank collections as required.
Qualifications, Skills &
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant should hold an O’ Level or A’
Level Certificate and a Diploma in Computer Studies - Certificate in Medical
Records will be an added advantage. - Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills; - Knowledge of local language is an added
advantage.
